I know there are those of you who meant to make a vid of yourself or your group playing Holiday songs and just didn't get to it. I include myself in that list. If you are like me and just didn't get to it, it's not too late in most instances.
Is your tree still up? If so, take advantage and make a couple of videos for next year. If the tree is down, you can still wear a festive holiday shirt or sweater and belt out a carol or two.
For those who are content creators, and you have room in a corner or closet with some spare room, here's what I'm doing: I purchased a 4 ft prelit tree in a pot. I'm keeping that in a closet this year along with a farmhouse style sandwich sign that is also pre lit. (runs on batteries) Both these items are easily stored away and don't take up much room.
Which means I can go for option #2: make a vid in my spare time during the Spring or the early Fall. (I don't recommend summer due to the fact it's too hot usually to wear festive winter clothing!) When I was a kid watching the Christmas specials, I didn't know those were typically taped the summer before in an air conditioned sound stage.
As I'm starting to take the Christmas decor down, this means I'll have to make my vids soon if I want my actual decorated tree as a backdrop.
