As I get older, the years just pass faster. Last I recall,I was complaining about the "too warm for me" temperatures and enjoying the long days,then Fall came,(which I love!) and next thing I know I'm wrapping Christmas gifts and putting up a tree.
Now,we're all about to enter a NEW year. I don't like "resolutions" as too many people automatically set it up in their minds as a "doomed to fail" thing. So....instead of using the "R" word, let's replace that with the word "dreams". What do you dream about accomplishing,creating,being,doing,for 2017?
I'd like you to pick no more than three things. Keep it simple,small,and definatly do-able. It can be all uke oriented,or not.
As for me,I've been working with some creative ideas in the garden of my mind. They have to do with making ukulele accessories. The straps I've made to sell have done OK....but aren't moving as quickly in my store as I'd like. So,the Universe gve me a couple of other ideas I'm really wanting to try,and I started making patterns last night. Yes,I'll be on my sewing machine again! I'll post pics and listings as soon as I have these projects finished.
So Dream # 1 is making ukulele accessories.
Dream #2 is to pursue Tai Chi with regularity and consistancy.
The Universe and my guardian angels let me know they wanted me to do Tai Chi-so much so that when I ordered a non related to Tai Chi book online, a Tai Chi book for beginners arrived instead.
At first,I thought the store had simply sent the wrong book. Then, two days later,the book I had actually ordered arrived in the mail. I was told to keep the Tai Chi book for free. I never take signs from the Universe like this lightly....but I have wound up skipping days. So- daily doing Tai Chi is on my list.
Dream #3 is to complete the two online courses I just signed up for. One is about the healing use of colors,and the other is a course taught by Doreen Virtue. Both courses will have an effect on my teaching music.
And there we have my "big Three Dreams" for 2017.
So ponder what your three dreams are for 2017.....and don't let the naysayers,the critics, or crazymakers know about them. Pland have more magic in them when you keep them to yourself,and silently progress in your doing them.
