Among the more unusual suggestions I've heard about,is getting a plastic uke that's not a toy- such as a Kala Waterman. Now- keep that in the bathroom and tune it before you get into the tub or shower. It's a great way to add fun to a relaxing bubble bath or to pass the time while letting the conditioner soak into your hair.or letting your facial mask dry!
And - no one is likely to disturb you for at least 30 min. So play away!
Another tip is to keep a uke right next to your bed. Consider retiring for the evening 30 min or more earlier than normal. And once you're all cozy, pick up your uke and start playing songs. It will help relax you so you can sleep. And if you have pets, they'll enjoy it too!
Slow computer? Well- having a uke by your computer means you can get some strums in while the computer is downloading something, defragging,or printing stuff out for you.
And lets not forget the kitchen. While we're familiar with dinner music,we forget that music while cooking is just as good! Get some playing in while waiting for that cake to bake or the steak to marinate.
While this means you'll be quite possibly playing in spurts, those spurts add up quickly! If you only had the uke at the computer and the kitchen you'd probably get in a good 20-30 min. combining the two locations.....even if you did them an hour apart!
