Make the last thing you play on your flea for the day something that you play well. Doesn't matter what it is....it could be a song, new to you chords, scales, etc. Whatever it is,always allow a few moments of spare time in your playing routine to do it. This sets the fact in your mind that while you What you play with ease now was once a challenge, right? So honor your past acievements after you've worked with whatever new skill you're tending to now.
Setting Your Ukulele Goals For 2017
Write down what your uke dreams are. Keep it reasonably attainable if you're a busy individual or have a lot of time demands on your plate. Is there a new style or technique you'd like to learn? Did you want to become a busker? Get another ukulele? (that's one that's probably going on everybody's list!)
Ponder what you've written down for a few days just to be sure it's what you truly want to do,not what you "should" do.
Have a little ceremony if you like on New Year's Eve to set your list in motion. It can be as simple as lighting a candle to signify the start and commitment to your new dreams.
