Yep! I'm back at the sewing machine, making ukulele straps. These are fully adjustable, and will work on concert, tenor, and baritone ukes providing your uke has a strap pin at the bottom of the instrument. I have a mountain of fabric, and am also making straps using various different pieces of fabric in a crazy quilted way. Fabric is 100% cotton. I do have non holiday straps in my booth here and I've had wonderful feedback so far,in addition to custom orders. They're strong, sturdy and a great enhancement to one's busking/performing presence!

Foundation Building with Craig Chee at Hale Ukulele Saturday,July 11,2015,2:00-3:30 PM $35
In an extended workshop (90 minutes), Craig will focus on different ways to hold and play the 'ukulele to relieve any unneeded tension while giving exercises to help build a proper foundation. For those tired of playing through the songs the same way and want to expand their sound, Craig will showcase how to turn those foundation exercises into techniques used by enthusiasts and professionals around the world. He will also be going over different strum patterns as well as showing how to create your own! Craig has been able to travel the world (along side his partner in crime, Sarah Maisel) to different music and 'ukulele events showcasing his 'ukulele playing and teaching. Based now in San Diego, Craig hopes to raise the awareness and level of playing of this amazing, tiny instrument. Contact store to make reservations 858-414-4492 |
