For me,the main Archangel that watches over ukulele players is Jophiel, without a doubt. She is the Angel of Joy and good good good vibrations. (Angels are actually genderless but I always see Jophiel as being female) She aids with helping us keep our thoughts positive and keeps us aware of beauty,so that we truly appreciate it. Ever notice how a person with a ukulele can light up a room? Of the various instruments I play, ukulele gets the most joyful response, hands down. People just start smiling when they see a ukulele player in their midst. If you find yourself in a sour mood, ask Jophiel to uplift you into a more positive state of mind.
She is a friendly archangel. Ever notice how friendly ukulele players are? I've never encountered a uke player who was snobby, concerned that someone might play better than her (or him) or get snotty about what brand of uke you play.
This Archangel also oversees creative projects of all sorts. She helps ignite that creative spark that gets us moving. At the same time, she helps us slow down if our pace is too hectic and we're missing things we should be seeing. This is helpful in learning the uke and in learning tunes. How many of us are in a hurry to get a tune down or learn a bunch of chords if we're just starting out? If you're in this situation, ask Jophiel to help slow you down so that you become a quality player. Ask that you be able to memorize songs and other know how in a relaxed and effortless way. Jophiel also helps arrangers and composers.
The color related to this archangel is bright yellow, and some of the gems associated with her is citrine, amethyst, rock crystal, and phenakite. Her day of the week is Monday. (What synchronicity as I'm writing this entry on a Monday!) For those of you who work with the Chakras,Jophiel is aligned with the Crown.
So if you've never worked with angels before, they do need your permission to start working on your behalf. So if you're wanting help in your uke playing, all you have to do is ask this angel of creativity to help you with your music.
